CL500 SCRAMBLER

Back in 1962 our very first street scrambler, the CL72, made its debut. We figured it was time for a new breed to roll out, made for the streets of today. Retro Scrambler styling with all the modern safety features. Our scrambler style starts with the 12L retro fuel tank with pads, blacked out engine and frame, rubber gaiters and, in true CL tradition, a twin pipe exhaust muffler, with a distinctive stainless heat shield.

Producing a healthy 43.4Nm torque, the LAMS approved twin-cylinder engine has been tuned for crisp response and smart acceleration. The CL500 drips with style and detail that only comes with long history, and begs to be ridden, customised and enjoyed.

  • Strong Torque & power delivery - 471cc fuel injected twin-cylinder engine with a 180 spinning crank
  • Added safety - Front & rear disc brakes, combined with standard Anti-lock Braking System (ABS)
  • Scrambler aesthetics - Featuring rubber gaiters, tank knee pads, retro flat seat and the iconic high-level muffler.
  • Premium handling - Telescopic 41mm Upright forks with 150mm of travel, rear twin 45mm round pipe swingarm with 5-step pre-load adjustment.
  • Strong Torque Equals Instant Response - Whether just starting your two-wheeled journey – or have been riding for years – you’ll love this engine. Parallel twin-cylinder, DOHC 4V and spinning a 180° crank, it’s so easy to use at low speed, with smooth throttle response, easy-going power delivery and soulful sound. And, thanks to street scrambler-specification intake, exhaust and gearing there’s strong torque all the way through the rev-range – with peak of 43.4Nm @ 6,250rpm – which equals acceleration, when needed, that even the most experienced will enjoy.
  • Built Ready To Ride - The CL500 is built to handle whatever you’ve got from dirt roads, cobbled city streets or weekends away. Longer travel suspension soaks up the bumps and deep-grooved tyres ensure confidence from walking speed upwards. Seat height is 790mm and the mid-section slim, great for easy ground reach and low-speed manoeuverability. There’s plenty of leg room, while the pillion seat mounts low, for easy access.
  • Look the Part - Our iconic style starts with the 12L fuel tank; smooth, rounded and perfectly formed, with authentic rubber knee pads for comfort. And everything that can be – engine, frame and suspension – is blacked out for sleek, minimalist looks. Rubber gaiters protect fork legs, just like back in the day. High, wide handlebars give excellent control and, in true CL tradition, mirror the evocative high-level exhaust muffler, with its distinctive drilled stainless heat shield and twin-pipe exit, that sits just right.
  • Retro LCD Display: The easy-to-read 100mm ring houses a negative LCD display. The minimalist screen features digital speedometer, gear position indicator, clock, odometer, and illuminated engine diagnostic indicators.
  • Diamond-tube Steel Frame: Light and strong, the 35mm diameter steel diamond-tube frame gives you plenty of feedback as road surfaces change. The shape and position of the engine mounts combined with the frame’s rigidity balance keep vibration to a minimum.
  • LED Lighting: The classic round headlight and indicators evoke the nostalgia of Honda bikes of old, while containing modern LED lighting for greater on road visibility day and night.
  • Stand Out Individuality the Way You Want It - We’ve built the CL500, now you need to make it yours. Maybe start with the simple pleasure of riding, meeting friends, hanging out and talking bikes. You’ll find what you need and want for your CL500. It will evolve around you, just as it should and become the motorcycle you dream of. More than lifestyle, this is living.

Headlight Visor & Sticker

The headlight cowl adds to the design of the CL500 while offering additional windbreak performance to protect the rider’s upper body and ensure a comfortable ride. The exclusive sticker is specifically designed to complement the Head Light Visor, adding an extra touch of colour.

Saddle Bag & Support

Made of a sturdy and lightweight ballistic nylon, this 14L saddle bag enhances the tough appearance of the bike. It can be attached / detached in one step thanks to its three-point adapter sold separately. Equipped with a water-proof inner bag, easy to carry with its handle or its shoulder strap, this practical saddle bag has a 3kg capacity and is a must have for every day use.
