The Monster Energy S-X Open Auckland doubles as the fourth round of the Australian Supercross Championship, and the first round of the FIM Oceania Supercross Championship – the most prestigious Supercross Championship, outside of the USA. This year’s event will again feature the world’s best riders going head-to-head on a full-sized World Championship Supercross track.
The largest attended off-road motorcycle event on record in New Zealand with over 22,500 attendees in 2018 at Auckland’s Mt Smart Stadium, fans were left captivated by ‘the 20/20 of motorsports’ due to its short, exciting and energetic racing. Famed for its non-stop entertainment, suitable to audiences of all ages, the anticipation for this year’s S-X Open Auckland event will be elevated to new heights, with just the one chance, to see the best Supercross riders in the world go head-to-head with the very best from New Zealand, Australia and all over the world.
As always before the gate drops and the racing takes place, the Pit Party is where all the pre-event action is at. Fans who arrive early to Mt Smart Stadium have exclusive access to the concourse area, where they can meet their favourite Supercross and Freestyle Motocross stars, get their autographs and take photos. Fans can also experience the wide variety of activations spread throughout the outside of the venue including live music, Monster Energy girls, sponsor giveaways, and much more entertainment for fans.
Witness the best freestyle motocross riders battle inside of Mt Smart Stadium to take home the elusive silverware, riders will put on a full-throttle explosive display, throwing out some of the most death-defying tricks ever seen.
