Oxford Products says its Maximiser 360T has been one of the company's most significant new products since its inception in 2007. This top-of-the-range 12V automated battery optimiser has received a host of upgrades and it has been renamed the Maximiser 3800.

Upgrades include:

• New voltage sensors detect high current drain faster and will switch automatically back to the most appropriate charge rate

• In bike mode it charges at a faster 0.8A constant current charge rate. This is also better for Gel batteries

• New charge method for car batteries makes process 5 times faster than before

• New surface-mounted LEDs are brighter and more reliable

• Revised heat control technology improves charging difficult batteries for long periods of time

• Now charges from as low as 6V to improve the chances of re-charging a battery that has just been discharged over a short period of time, without compromising safety on truly dead batteries

The Maximiser continues to offer all the features which have made it a success:

The Maximiser 360T is a professional switch mode charger designed to automatically maintain, optimise and therefore prolong the life of a 12 volt battery. This essential piece of garage equipment is designed to be connected to a battery for months, or even, years at a time.

It utilises state of the art electronics software to ensure that a battery is charged in the correct method, no matter what the battery type or state of charge.

It also offers the user three separate modes for charging different types of battery. This makes it suitable for charging batteries ranging in size from 1.2Ah up to 125Ah and therefore covers batteries normally fitted to motorcycles, cars and even caravans or boats.
